For NBCUniversal in Amsterdam, we are looking for a fulltime Business Analyst to join the Finance Digitalization team. In this role, you'll help optimise the finance technology landscape by improving systems, data flows and processes that support Global Finance Operations (GFO). You will work closely with Finance, IT and international stakeholders to ensure finance applications are used effectively and continue to evolve alongside the business.
As Business Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting and improving the finance applications used throughout Global Finance Operations. You will analyse business processes, understand how data moves between systems and translate business requirements into practical technology solutions. While this is not a technical development role, you will be actively involved in system configuration, testing, implementations and continuous improvement initiatives.
Your responsibilities include:
- Supporting the daily operation, stability and continuous improvement of finance applications.
- Analysing finance processes, system dependencies and data flows to identify improvement opportunities.
- Configuring enterprise applications to support business requirements and improve usability.
- Acting as the link between Finance, IT and other stakeholders by translating business needs into functional solutions.
- Supporting system implementations, upgrades, releases and enhancement projects.
- Participating in testing activities, user acceptance testing (UAT) and issue resolution.
- Helping introduce and implement AI-enabled capabilities within finance applications.
- Creating user documentation, process documentation and training materials.
- Supporting governance, compliance and audit activities related to finance systems and applications.
You enjoy understanding how finance processes and technology work together. You are analytical, curious and proactive, and you like working with both business users and technical teams in an international environment.
In addition, you have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems or a related field.
- Approximately 2 to 5 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst, Finance Systems Analyst or in a similar finance technology role.
- Experience within an international corporate organisation or shared service environment.
- A solid understanding of finance processes and the technology that supports them.
- Experience gathering business requirements, analysing processes and supporting system improvements.
- Experience with system configuration, testing, implementations or application support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to work with stakeholders across different countries and disciplines.
- An innovative mindset with an interest in digital transformation and AI technologies.

The Finance Digitalization team plays an important role in supporting Global Finance Operations by continuously improving the technology that enables finance processes. The team works closely with Finance, IT and the Virtual Workforce Centre of Excellence to optimise enterprise applications, automate processes and introduce innovative technologies, including AI-enabled solutions.
